Rebuild Iraq Before Hudson, NY ?

OK, promise: this is my last post on the wars and what they cost for weeks.  But I had to get this in.  You’ll see on the news that FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is running short of money to help Irene flood victims.  Congress will grudgingly give it $1-Billion dollars if Obama makes “appropriate” spending cuts.  “Appropriate” does not include much money from the military budget.

We are now spending $1-Billion dollars every day and a third in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.  The rebuilding of Iraq isn’t going well – we cannot properly account for most of the money we’ve spent.  Obama could do a lot about this if he was a real leader – but he isn’t.  He is now campaigning for his re-election 14-months away.

I voted for O because of his stances against the wars. I used to think George W. Bush was the WORST President in history. Obama now has  blown him away with his own war policies.  We won’t forget, asshole.

Now now–calm down. James Buchanan was probably the worst president in history. I’d say the Civil War was just a tad bit worse than our adventure in Afghanistan.

If I were to rank the presidents in my lifetime (Truman thru Barry), George W would be the worst–hands down, Obama the second worst, Jimmy Carter the third worst. Why?

Jimmy was ineffectual. Did nothing much wrong; did nothing much right. May as well have not existed.

Obama is also ineffectual, plus he does do damage in the area of foreign affairs as you well noted.

George W–a nice man who was out of his depth and put this nation on a path to destruction. Massive tax cuts that put us further in debt. A war in Afghanistan that was not paid for. A war in Iraq that was not paid for. A Medicare drug prescription plan that was not paid for. It adds up after a while, folks. Now we can’t afford to help domestic victims of natural disasters. Thanks a bunch George.

I also won’t be voting for Barry if I can avoid it. But what happens if the GOP nominates a crazy person? This nation is in a real bad spot right now, because we’ve had two disastrous presidents in a row. A country the size of the USA should be able to do better.

WE DON’T HAVE A DEMOCRACY OR FREE ELECTIONS ANYMORE OR ANYONE WILLING TO FIGHT FOR WHAT OUR FOREFATHERS DIED FOR. sO WE HAVE TO START WITH REVENGE KILLINGS.
