What Would Your Stylist Have Done?

Saturday, October 31st, 2015

David Davis, 21, of Stamford, Connecticut was getting a haircut  few years ago.  A man in a heavy, black leather jacket approached him in what Davis calls “an aggressive manner.” So, of course, he jumped from the chair, grabbed a scissors, and stabbed the man in the back.

Davis was arrested soon afterwards hiding in a nearby apartment as the black-leather man was rushed to a hospital where he recovered.

Davis was held on $5000 bond – sporting his new “do” behind bars.  The police have no comment on if  he was charged with “theft of services,” “aggravated assault with a deadly weapon,” or just “having a really bad hair day.”

Are stylists legally responsible for their haircuts?

USA TODAY: “WASHINGTON — Since 2013, President Obama has repeatedly vowed that there would be no “boots on the ground” in Syria.

But White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the president’s decision Friday to send up to 50 special forces troops to Syria doesn’t change the fundamental strategy: “This is an important thing for the American people to understand. These forces do not have a combat mission.”  (Washington doublespeak HORSESHIT!)  Read more:

The First – And Last Place – He Saw Her

Friday, October 30th, 2015

Boy meets Girl in a Florida Lenscrafters. She saw something in his eyes and they fell in love.  He asked her to say “eye do.”   She said ‘yes’ but died a few months later.  The boy then had his fiancee’s body cremated, sprinkled her ashes back at the store for “closure,” and left the scene.  Lenscrafters personnel, not knowing the white powder was a former employee, called the Sarasota police.

Hazmat crews responded, closed the mall, and asked shoppers to shelter in place so they could see if the substance was hazardous .  She wasn’t.

Sarasota has decided not to press charges against the grieving man but is considering charging him for all the costs involved.
