A Look At Our Colored Past

Saturday, August 1st, 2015

There are many photography purists who think it’s a sin to colorize old black and white photos.  I used to think so too – until I saw this exhibition on Distractify (a really cool website.)  Check it out and take a look around the place.  I think you’ll like it.

Dramatic sneezes:

I’m Enjoying His Pain

Saturday, August 1st, 2015

I’m not proud of this, but I must admit I’m happy that that ball-less twit, Dr. Walter Palmer, is suffering right now.  He’s had to temporarily close his dentistry practice, go “underground” for his own protection, look forward to being extradicted to Zimbabwe, and be fearful of some heavy punishment once there.  As more details of his “hunt” become known, he becomes even more repulsive.

Palmer and his hired hands (to whom he paid $55,000 for this one hunt) baited the protected lion with food at night, blinded and stunned the poor creature with a spot light, and then shot arrows into it. Cecil the lion was only wounded and was then tracked for 40-hours before the killer could murder him with more arrows. Even hunters are disgusted with this animal (Palmer.)

There are 17-African countries which grant licenses to trophy head-hunters – about 60% of whom are Americans.  These nations should now be afraid of anti-African-tourism efforts underway.  I personally would be happy to volunteer for one of these groups until Africa stops head-hunting.
