I’ve Heard The Speech Before

Tuesday, September 10th, 2013

The goals all sound so noble in the beginning, don’t they? Rid the world of horrid dictators like Hussein, Gaddafi, and Assad – blow away rancid governments that support terrorism like the Taliban – and give the hope of freedom and dignity to all people who live without democracy.  But the objectives never quite seem to work out that way, do they?

The proof?  Look at the world today.  The Mideast is in shambles and so is our economy from funding these military adventures for over 10-years.  What real difference has America made in a region that has had religious wars for nearly 2000 years and will continue to do so forever?

Sorry, Obama.  You can tug at my heartstrings with gut-wrenching pictures of gas victims and wave the American flag  – but we have to deal with harsh reality here.  The reality is the United States never was good at nation-building or teaching other nations lessons. There was a time when we had the power and money to try – but that time is over.

It’s time to define a new role for America that puts our nation first – and keeps us out of other countries’ hopeless wars.

In 2008, young Miley “Hannah Montana” Cyrus appeared in Vogue magazine and America freaked.  “Is she topless under that sheet?” it screamed!

At the MTV Awards last month, Miley twerked her little heart out and the country tweeked!
And in her new video “Wrecking Ball,” Miley wrecks Western Civilization!

You can see it here.  LMAO!
