Wednesday the Cat

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

OK – enough of my home pictures – but I’m still knocked out by this small, inexpensive Nikon camera!  I won’t add any more boring, personal stuff for a month or two (although I am going to a wild Halloween party this weekend…)

Tattoo Barbie

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

Yes, there is a new Tattoo Barbie but no, that’s not her in the playful artist’s picture above.  The real Tattoo Barbie has far fewer tramp stamps but is dressed kind of slutty which is outraging parents worldwide.

“What will they make her next,” blasted one angry Mom, “a heroin addict!?”

Actually Barbie is now 52 and looks great.  Here’s what I wrote on her birthday 2-years ago:

Goodbye Qaddafi

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

Fugitive Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi was killed today near his hometown of Sirte.  Apparently the rebels captured him alive and then beat and shot him to death with animalistic gusto.  I feel worse for the exotic wildlife killed yesterday in Ohio but I would ask America to think about two things:

1. Would any of our country’s leaders have taken up arms and fought rebels in the streets?  The 69-year old master terrorist could easily have left the country months ago and lived in exile with the millions he stole. He chose to fight for his ideals. And

2. How long will our new best friends – rebel Muslim militants – embrace in appreciation NATO and the US?  My guess is as long as we continually pump billions of dollars into the country just as Hilly promised.
