“I Pressed the Sheets…”
Tuesday, August 16th, 2011America’s Star Son: Al Capone
Tuesday, August 16th, 2011In the early part of his life, Al Capone was a smalltime thug who beat up and killed people for money. He was just a common crook – with a knack for organization. Then along came Prohibition and within 10-years, Al was making over $100-million dollars per year in 1930 dollars (over $1-Billion dollars today) – all of it untaxed. Al loved America.
The leaders of drug cartels today also love America. They corrupt police, judges, DEA agents, border patrol officers, politicians, and everyone else whom they buy. They count on American patriotic, puritanical prigs to keep them rich. If Americans really were free to live their private lives as the Constitution says, these billionaire business kingpins would be out of business within months.
Today more people do more illegal drugs than ever before without paying a dime in taxes on them. Prohibition still doesn’t work and never will. And the kingpins continue to sing, “God Bless America”.
