Exposed To 2nd-Hand Incandescent Light

Tuesday, December 31st, 2013

I stocked up today on 60 and 40-watt tungsten bulbs. Tomorrow the government makes it illegal to manufacture and import them. Why? It has something to do with energy conservation or something.  I really don’t care.

Many Earth-Mother huggers care more about the environment in 100-years than they do about the 40,000 people who died today of starvation and preventable diseases – or those children who were murdered by Obama drones.  So fuck ’em.

Although I’ve never smoked a straight cigarette in my life, I support smokers’ rights.

Religion Has More Harmful Effects Than Pot

Tuesday, December 31st, 2013

Our government was established to protect our freedom to live our lives as we choose – as long we don’t interfere with others by force or fraud. Pretty simple, huh? And then somewhere along the line, the Morality Nazi’s (religious prigs – usually American Christians) got into positions of power and began to decide that they knew better than we – how we should live our own lives.

So the concept of ‘consensual crime’ was born and began to eat away at our freedom like malignant cancer cells on steroids. From the early 1800’s, our government threw up literally millions of laws to tell us how we should live.  They decided what we could put into our bodies – with whom we could have sex (and how) – and if we could gamble or drive junkie cars.

Starting tomorrow in Colorado, pot will be legally sold and taxed at specially regulated retailers much like legal alcohol is sold now. That state is smart enough to make money on a vice it knows it can’t stop.

Traditionalists are wailing! I’m laughing my ass off (as I take another toke.)

A Page Of History

“God…What a Bod.” (High School saying)

Five years ago, legendary pinup queen Bettie Page had a heart attack and shortly thereafter died of pneumonia. She was 85. Although her name may not be familiar to you, it would be hard to find anyone over the age of 30 who could not recognize Ms. Page from the 20,000 racy photographs taken of her in the late ‘40’s and ‘50’s.

Along with Hugh Hefner and Marilyn Monroe, Ms. Page is regarded as one of the pioneers in the sexual revolution of the ‘60’s. Without shame – she was most often photographed naked, nearly naked, or in a daring (for the 1950’s) bikini on a California beach.

"He can't come to the phone right now. He's all tied up."

Ms. Page was even featured in ‘Bondage & Discipline’ images although she didn’t quite “get” the motif. “Why would anyone want to be tied-up?” she was quoted as asking. Her photos were found in sleazy men’s mags of the times, under the beds of teen boys, and proudly published by ‘Nudism & Nature’ periodicals.

“She captured the imagination of a generation of men and women with her free spirit and unabashed sensuality,” said agent Mark Roesler in a written statement. “She is the embodiment of beauty.”

A private funeral service was held for Ms. Page in Los Angeles. She was buried at Westwood Cemetery just a few feet away from Marilyn Monroe. Pages of Page:

A Note To My Russian Friends

Monday, December 30th, 2013

I am proud to have many readers in Russia and was sad to learn of a second terrorist attack in two days.  Please know our hearts are with you and we’re confident your strength, determination, and spirit cannot be deterred by murderous lunatics.  On to Sochi!
